FAQ on AI newsletter sponsorship

Short answers to the questions advertisers ask first — with the verification status of every number, because in this market the source matters as much as the figure.

How much does an AI newsletter sponsorship cost?

There is no single price. Among publicly priced listings in our database, the range runs from tiered prices at $99 / $249 / $599 (Aignals, prices on record) and a classified at $250 per month (ai-weekly.ai, on its own sponsorship page) up to an exclusive at $1,400 per week (AI Weekly, verified on its own advertise page), a Banner + Top Ad Combo at $3,250 and a Middle Ad at $1,150 (Forward Future, verified from its own media kit), and Growth sponsorships from $8,500 per activity (DiamantAI, verified on its own sponsor page). Some figures are estimates — Creators AI at $150 per issue is estimated from a directory listing about a year old, and AI Agents Simplified at $399+ is an estimated secondhand price — and both should be re-verified before quoting. Most of the biggest AI newsletters publish no price at all; they are inquiry-only. See rates and CPM benchmarks for the full picture.

What CPM should I expect?

CPM is price per issue divided by subscribers, times 1,000. One fully verified example: AI Weekly's $1,400 per week exclusive divided by its 52,000+ subscribers gives a computed CPM of about $27. Where a publication's own price is unverified, our database uses a cross-publication AI/tech CPM benchmark range of $100–150 for planning. That range is not any publication's price, and the gap between $27 and $100–150 shows why you should never budget from a single example: format, audience, and placement move the number more than subscriber count alone.

How far ahead do I need to book?

It varies by publication, and most do not publish lead times. One verified data point: AI Weekly's own FAQ says its popular weeks book 2–3 weeks ahead. For other publications, availability is unverified until you ask — which is why availability and booking lead time are fields in our database rather than assumptions.

What sponsorship formats exist?

Exclusive (whole issue, one sponsor), primary (top slot), secondary (mid-issue slot), bottom link, classified, banner and combo placements, and longer deep-dive or tool slots. TLDR AI's verified format tiers, for example, are primary (top logo + 100 words + 3 calls to action), secondary (mid-issue, 50 words + 2 calls to action), and bottom link (30 words + 1 call to action), with a maximum of 3 advertisers per issue. See sponsorship formats explained for what each includes.

How do I know a subscriber count is real?

Check the source, the date, and what it counts. Prefer the publication's own advertise page over a marketplace listing, and a marketplace listing over a roundup. Watch for conflicts — The Rundown AI carries three figures (an estimated 2M+ from roundups, 1.7M+ daily readers from its own ad page, and 1.6M+ from BuySellAds) — and for reach figures that blend channels, like Forward Future's 10M+ monthly reach across newsletter and YouTube, which is not a subscriber count. See how to check a newsletter's real subscriber count.

Is this site affiliated with the publications it lists?

No. This site is an independent database. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any publication listed here. It does not sell those publications' inventory; it reports their rates, formats, availability, and contact channels with sources and check dates. Sponsorship slots in this site's own newsletter are a separate offering, described on the homepage.

How often is the data re-checked?

Prices and availability are re-checked monthly. Every number carries its source and check date, so you can see how fresh it is — and where a figure is an estimate or a benchmark range, it is labeled as such.
